Installing Your Windows Software From your desktop click on My ComputerSetup.exe. You will then get a series of screens. Welcome screen - click on Next. Software License Agreement - click on Yes. User Information - type in your name and company and then click on Next. Destination Location - defaults to C:\Program Files\Physiolab\ Physiolab, click on Next. Select Program Folder for Icon - defaults to Physiolab, click on Next. Files are then copied. Setup complete, click on Finish. Click the X to close My Computer. Click on the Physiolab icon to begin the program (make sure your device is plugged in to the Serial connector or, if you have a USB adapter, to the USB connector). The software is defaulted to look for your J&J device on COM1 and IRQ4. If you are connecting your device to a different COM port such as (COM2 and IRQ3), click on the View button at the top of the first screen and choose Setup, then change these settings. You may have to exit and restart the program for your computer to detect this new port setting. The only time that the software attempts to communicate with your J&J hardware is when you click on Run New Session. |
